Over the years I came to know that I have evolved constantly and on different relationship types I had a different perspective. I concluded that my relationships became more defined and more pronounced as I become older, more experienced and wiser in interpersonal relationships. Back in the school and college days, I used to get angry quickly when someone even says me unfavorable things. I never saw anything good in anyone due to the negative emotion of anger I used to be so rude in this kind of situations. As a result, I always left alone and had very few friends. But with time I realized that it is not necessary that everything will be in your favor or you should do what you want and ignore others. Things will not necessarily go in a way you want to be.
So I changed my behavior. I used to think that there is nothing wrong with me. Then one bad day when I needed a shoulder to cry on but I had no friend, so I started asking myself why I am in this situation and do I listen to others well? This self-perception made me empathetic which left positive effects on my life because the basis of a two-way communication is empathy. I started seeing other’s people perspective. I started treating their mistakes as I want others to treat mine.
This change of reducing my anger will help me a lot in my practical life. My positive attitude at workplace will certainly affect my performance. Positive attitude shows respect towards organization and work. Now instead of getting angry over unfavorable conditions and becoming rude to colleagues, I shall try to resolve the problems with a positive attitude.
